Whenever you share your Videos & File Collection with another person, they will be able to view, comment, share, and add their own videos and files to the shared collection (according to the permissions granted).
If the person you shared the Collection with decides to add an artifact to the Collection, the artifact will only be visible to the owner of the Collection if the individual artifact is shared with the owner at the Medium or High permission level. Once the artifact is shared to the Collection with proper permissions, it will be visible to all users whom the Collection is currently shared with.
The user can grant this permission when adding artifacts to the shared Collection by following the steps below.
Individual Videos & Files
First, navigate to your 'Videos & Files' page from the top navigation bar. On your Videos & Files page, go to 'My Files' on the left side panel and find the video/file you would like to add to the shared collection.
You can then hover over the video/file and then hover over its 'gear icon.' Doing so will display a dropdown list. From the dropdown, select 'Manage Collections' to add this video/file to the shared collection.
This will load the 'Manage Collections' pop-up for this specific video/file. Check off the shared collection(s) and/or its subcollection(s) you wish to add to and then make sure you have the 'High' Permissions toggled to GREEN/ON so that all of the other users in this collection can see them.
Click 'Save' in the bottom, right-hand corner to save your changes.
Bulk Videos & Files
First, navigate to your 'Videos & Files' page from the top navigation bar. On your Videos & Files page, go to 'My Files' on the left side panel and find the video/file you would like to add to the shared collection.
You can then hover over the video/files you would like to add to a shared collection at the same time and select them by checking off their checkboxes.
Once all of the necessary videos/files are selected, click the 'Bulk Actions' button at the top of your page. This will display a dropdown list. From the dropdown list, click 'Add to Collections.'
This will load the 'Add Videos & Files to Collections' pop-up for bulk-uploading. Check off the shared collection(s) and/or its subcollection(s) you wish to add to and then make sure you have the 'High' Permissions toggled to GREEN/ON so that all of the other users in this collection can see them.
Click 'Save' in the bottom, right-hand corner to save your changes.
