How to ensure your web browser has downloading enabled for TORSH Talent

Most web browsers will have automatic downloads enabled for each webpage by default, but in some cases, the permissions may have accidentally been set to not allow downloads. We've provided instructions below on how to modify these settings, just in case!

 

Google Chrome

  1. Login to TORSH Talent at www.torshtalent.com and open the Videos & Files page.
  2. Look to your address bar at the top of your web browser. You will notice a little toggle icon listed beside it.
  3. In the menu that pops up, click 'Site Settings.'
  4. On the Site Settings page, scroll down to 'Automatic Downloads.'
  5. Ensure that it is set to either 'Ask (default)' or 'Allow.'
  6. Refresh your TORSH Talent webpage.

 

Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox should already allow automatic downloads.

 

Microsoft Edge

  1. Login to TORSH Talent at www.torshtalent.com and open the Videos & Files page.
  2. Look to your address bar at the top and locate the 'lock icon' on the left side of the address bar. Click on the 'lock icon.'
  3. Choose 'Permissions for this site' from the dropdown menu.
  4. On the next page, scroll down to 'Insecure content' and click its dropdown list.
  5. Select 'Allow' from the dropdown options.
  6. Lastly, refresh the webpage to apply your changes. 

 

Safari

  1. Open Safari and click on 'Safari' in the top navigation bar of your Macbook.
  2. On the Settings tab, click 'Websites.'
  3. On the left-side panel of the next pop-up, scroll down and click 'Downloads.'
  4. On the Downloads page, look to the bottom, right-hand corner. Ensure that it is set to 'Ask' or 'Allow.'
  5. Refresh your TORSH Talent webpage.
