Learning Paths
Functionality Improvements: This release focuses on our Learning Paths feature. We have added multiple authoring enhancements, including the ability to combine individual learning paths into Collections, and a way for Authors to drive learnings through learning paths based on the results of question components. These updates provide additional functionality, all existing learning path functionality remains the same. [READ MORE]
Collections and Modules: Individual Learning Paths have been renamed to "Modules," and the can be placed into groups called "Collections." Both labels are customizable within system settings. Collections and Modules can have cover images, either from a library of pre-selected images, or that are uploaded by the Author. Modules can only belong to one Collection at a time. Collections can be sequential or open enrollment, but learners only move through collections when they have Pathways configured. [READ MORE]
Learning Library: In addition to grouping modules into collections, Authors can enable a "Learning Library", where Learners can self-enroll in modules and collections. This allows Learnings to guide their own professional development. The Learning Library can be enabled or disabled from system settings. [READ MORE]
My Modules: The Learner's "My Learning Paths" have been updated to display as "My Modules" with additional information about the modules they are enrolled in, as well as displaying a history of completed modules.
Module Settings Page: Common module settings have been collected into a module settings page. We have also added the ability to shuffle the order of answers in quiz components, and the ability to designate the amount of "Units" each module is worth. This label can be changed in system settings, and is used to track things like "credit hours" for certification purposes. [READ MORE]
Module Completion Pathways: Module Completion Pathways are a feature of Learning Paths that create pathways to another module or a specific award result based on the final results of a learner's responses to Quiz Components or their summative scores. Pathways must be set in order to move a learner through a series of modules, even if those modules are configured inside a collection. [READ MORE]
Module Enrollment Links: Each module has a unique link that can be used to automatically users into that module. For existing accounts, the link will direct them to the first page of the module. New users will be prompted to create an account and will be enrolled and directed to the module upon completing the account setup.

Please note that each user account created via the Module Enrollment Link counts towards the system's purchased licenses. System Administrators receive daily updates on new users and additional invoices if the license limit is exceeded. [READ MORE]
