Automatic Sharing Rules
We are excited to introduce Automatic Sharing Rules for System Admins, a powerful new feature that streamlines artifact sharing within the Torsh Talent platform. Designed to address challenges faced by educational and research customers, this update allows administrators to set up automated sharing rules based on user group associations and role aliases, ensuring that essential content reaches the right personnel efficiently. [LEARN MORE]
- System Admins can now create rules that automatically share specific artifact types, such as videos, files, self-assessments, and observations, with designated recipients based on user group associations and role aliases.
- Users impacted by these rules have the option to opt-in or opt-out, maintaining control over their content while allowing for smoother workflows.
- Once a sharing rule is activated and a trigger is initiated, the sharing action is irreversible—even if the rule is later deactivated, deleted, or archived. Administrators must ensure artifact owners are aware of this to manually update sharing settings as needed.
New 'Sharing Center' Page:
- We’ve added a centralized Sharing Center to the left-side navigation in the Management Panel, consolidating all sharing-related functionalities for easier access and management.
- The Sharing Center includes two main sections:
- System Share Settings: A section dedicated to consolidating existing share settings.
- Sharing Rules: A section with tabs to categorize rules by status (Active, Inactive, Pending) for simplified management.
Sharing Rule Creation and Management:
- Rule Creation Modal: A new modal flow guides administrators through the process of creating sharing rules, including validation checks and prioritization mechanisms to avoid common errors.
- Real-Time Validation: Advanced validation checks are integrated to catch issues during rule creation and modification, ensuring rules are correctly configured.
Updates to User Account Settings:
- The Account Settings page for coaches and mentees has been updated to include global opt-in/opt-out controls and a display of associated sharing rules, providing greater transparency and control over shared artifacts.
Revised 'Shared Artifact' Page:
- The existing Feedback page in Coaching has been enhanced to allow users to view and manage artifacts shared across the system, offering a streamlined approach to managing shared content.
Upgraded Email Notification System:
- The email notification system has been refined to align with user opt-in/opt-out preferences, ensuring that notifications reflect individual sharing choices.
Coaching Assignments
We are pleased to announce the introduction of Coaching Assignments, a new feature that allows System Admins to easily manage coaching relationships by assigning mentees to specific coaches or coaches to system groups. This update streamlines the management of coaching relationships, ensuring a more consistent and personalized experience across the Torsh Talent platform. [LEARN MORE]
New Coaching Assignments Page:
- A Coaching Assignments page has been added to the Management Panel, located just below the "Groups" page. This central hub simplifies the management of coaching relationships.
- The page includes three tabs for different assignment types:
- Individual Assignments: For pairing specific mentees with one or more coaches.
- Group Assignments: For assigning coaches to system groups, automatically associating them with all group members.
- Expired Assignments: Displays expired coaching relationships for reference and historical tracking.
Flexible Assignment Functionality:
- System Admins and users with "Manage Coaching Assignments" permissions can create and manage coaching relationships, either at the individual level or for entire groups.
- Once established, coaching assignments propagate throughout the platform, allowing for consistent application in areas such as the Coaching Corner, My Profile, and other relevant modules.
Updated Permissions for Better Control:
- Manage Coaching Assignments: A new permission setting that grants users access to view and edit coaching assignments.
- Can View Users Not in an Assignment Relationship: Allows coaches to see mentees they are not currently assigned to, providing more visibility for potential coaching opportunities.
Enhanced Data Tracking and Reporting:
- Coaching Assignments data has been integrated into the Report Builder, allowing admins to include coaching relationships in their reports for better tracking and analysis.
New Display Toggle for Organizing Video & File Collections and Exemplar Collections
We are introducing a new toggle option to enhance file organization within the 'Videos and Files' and 'Exemplar Library' sections of the Torsh Talent platform. This feature provides users with the ability to organize items placed in collections into folders, helping to clean up and simplify the 'My Files' screen by removing individual items already included in collections.
New Toggle in Collection Settings:
- A toggle labeled 'Items placed into Collections are organized into folders' has been added to the Collection Settings in both the 'Videos and Files' (My Files) screen and the Exemplar Library.
- The default setting for new users is 'ON', while existing customers will have the toggle set to 'OFF' by default.
- Behavior in Videos and Files>My Files: [LEARN MORE]
- When the toggle is enabled, any items placed in collections will be organized into folders, decluttering the 'My Files' screen.
- This setting is user-specific and will remain enabled for each user until manually turned off.
- The toggle is available and visible to all users, allowing for flexible individual file organization.
- Behavior in Exemplar Library: [LEARN MORE]
- For the Exemplar Library, enabling the toggle organizes items in collections as folders, impacting all users who access the library.
- This setting can only be enabled or adjusted by users with Management or Edit permissions to the system’s Exemplar Library.
- When enabled, collections and nested collections will appear as folders and subfolders, making navigation more intuitive.
- Folder and Subfolder Display:
- When the toggle is enabled in either area, collections will appear as folders on the main navigation screen, with nested collections displayed as subfolders, enhancing file organization and usability.
Bulk Removal of Users from Learning Path Modules
We are introducing an enhancement to the Members tab in Learning Path modules to simplify the process of managing enrolled users. This update allows administrators to remove multiple users at once, streamlining the user management experience for Learning Path modules.
- Users can now select multiple members from the Members tab within a Learning Path module and remove them simultaneously.
- This new functionality reduces the time and effort needed to manage large groups, especially when dealing with 50 or more users enrolled in a module.
Improved User Management Workflow:
- The enhanced Members tab now includes checkboxes next to each user for easy selection, allowing administrators to check off individual users or multiple members at once.
- Once the desired users are selected, a new 'Remove Member' option appears, enabling quick removal of the selected members from the module.
Enhanced Observation Feedback Request Modal
We’ve updated the Observation Feedback Request modal to provide users with more flexibility when requesting feedback on observations. With this enhancement, users can now request feedback from groups as well as individual people, streamlining the feedback process while maintaining control over permissions.
Request Feedback from Groups:
- Users can now add entire groups to the feedback request, making it easier to involve multiple people at once.
- When a group is selected, each member is added individually to the feedback list, allowing users to manage permissions for each person.
Individual Listing of Group Members:
- Once a group is added, all group members are listed individually on the right side of the modal. This ensures transparency in who has access and allows for easy removal of any individual members if needed.
- The list of members is static and does not update dynamically based on changes in group membership.
New BETA AI Features for Learning Paths and Observations
We are introducing two exciting new BETA AI features to enhance the efficiency and user experience within the Torsh Talent platform. These features are available for early access, and users interested in participating in the BETA should reach out to their Customer Success representative.
